On Aug 23, Jan 6 insurrectionist & gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano hosted an event at Farm & Table in Nazareth, a venue owned by Amie & Pete Eckert. The Eckert’s claimed neutrality in an article by @lehighvalley, despite the fact that Amie is also a Jan 6 insurrectionist.
The Farm & Table opened by the Eckert’s earlier this year. The opening was covered by both @mcall & @lehighvalley WITHOUT mentioning the Eckert’s ties to far right street gang the Proud Boys, Amie’s politically motivated arrest record, or her participation in Jan 6.
The fact that the @mcall & @lehighvalley failed to mention the Eckert’s history as an open far right insurrectionists, or Amie’s public display of racism & trans-hate, is a stark reminder that the Lehigh Valley has incredibly poor access to real journalism about local issues.
Local social justice organizations (@MakeTheRoadPA @LVStandsUp @BSCLehighValley @powerinterfaith etc) & the @NorthamptonDems MUST hold the local press accountable when they fail to inform the public of known threats to democracy & social justice. Please join us in speaking out.

Everyone else: Help organize a boycott of The Farm & Table & Carera Organix, the Eckert’s other known business. The Eckert’s are fascists and are clearly not being honest about how their businesses are being used to support a far right takeover of the US government.
